More About Annie

I am a Clinical Social Worker, licensed in both Illinois and Washington.  I  specialize in individual, couple, and family therapy, as well as Consultation and Supervision.

I maintain an actively anti-racist private practice on the North side of Chicago, and in my virtual office.  With 25 years of experience, I am committed to helping people create change in their lives that reflects their best selves.

I have experience working with a wide range of problems from a diverse blend of cultural backgrounds including gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and age.

My graduate social work training at University of Chicago, experience in community social service agencies, and my work in onsite corporate settings has afforded me the opportunity to work with a diverse range of issues, from acute stressors to ongoing obstacles.  I draw on my training and experience with a variety of practice methods, basing my choice of evidence based interventions on what is best indicated for the client.  These include brief cognitive-behavioral interventions, evidence based treatments such as ACT, and DBT skills.

Among My Areas of Expertise

Stella is a 50lb black lab and a "therapy dog in training". She is available to attend sessions upon clients' request.
